1.
Day; Fricktal, Laufenburg: The first stage of the tour takes us into
the Jura range to the top of the Bözberg mountain and onto Laufenburg.
The town of Laufenburg is split into two by the Rhine, with one half being in
Switzerland and the other in Germany. The old castle ruins in the loop of
the river are best seen from the German side.

2. Day; Black Forest, Rheinfall: Today's stage
takes us down many narrow and winding roads where traffic is less heavy. We
will be riding through rocky tunnels in a surprising mountainous landscape which
features dense-forest stretches that suddenly open out into plateaus. We cross
back into Switzerland at Stühlingen. The route to Schaffhausen takes through
the well-known wine-growing area located between Hallau and Nauhausen and on to
Rheinfall. We will be spending the night in the idyllic small town of Stein
am Rhein.

3. Day; East Switzerland, great food:
We will be leaving the Rhine today. On this stage we will be skirting the 'Untersee'
part of the lake in the direction of Lake Constance. We then folk off in a
westerly direction and travel through the slightly more populated region around
Lake Zurich and pass close to Zurich Airport. The route then takes us through
more forests and open countryside with grazing cows and horses into northern
Switzerland and on to Baden. This tour is well known for the wealth of culinary
delights it offers along the way.
