1.
Day; Rhine, east Switzerland: Travelling along the smallest and narrowest
of roads and enjoying varying natural scenery, the first stage of our tour
takes us east into the Lake Constance region. We will be spending our first night
in the idyllic small town on Stein am Rhein.

2. Day; Alp foothills, Braunwald: Today
we will be leaving eastern Switzerland. This stage takes us through undulating
countryside, through forests and past grazing cows and horses into the foothills
of the Alps in the Glarnerland region. At 1300 meters above sea level, motorbikes
cannot access Braunwald. One of the special attractions included in this tour
package is a trip with the Braunwald funicular railway.

3. Day; Alpine panorama, Klausenpass:
The third stage of the tour is also the best. We will be climbing upwards to Linthal
and then onwards to the pass. A wonderful combination of winding roads and
breathtaking landscape through the middle of the Alps attracts bikers from
neighbouring countries with whom we will be sharing the roads. We will also have
to watch out for the local animals including cows, sheep and goats that move around
freely and have often been known to wander onto the roads to graze - care
and attention is needed here. This route takes us to Altdorf and the Tell
Monument in the direction of Lake Zuger and the Reuss River to Baden.
