1. Day;
Rhine, east Switzerland: Travelling along the smallest and narrowest of roads and enjoying varying natural scenery, the
first stage of our tour takes us east into the Lake Constance region. We will be spending our first night in the idyllic small
town on Stein am Rhein.

Neuenhof - Stein am Rhein

2. Day;
Winding our way through Appenzeller Land: Today we will be leaving the Rhine river. The second stage of our tour
includes two possible attractions and we will be taking a boat trip down the Rhine or visiting a cheese-making factory in
the mountains. It is here that the famous Appenzeller cheese is made. This region also offers us a unique opportunity to
enjoy some well-maintained and challenging roads far away from heavy traffic.

Stein am Rhein - Toggenburg

3. Day;
Mittelland, Lake Zurich: We might well see farmers at work on the steep slopes. During the course of today we will have
more opportunities to see farmers hard at work in the countryside. We will be riding westwards through the more heavily
populated region around Lake Zurich. This stage takes us northwards through forests and skirts open countryside with
grazing cows and horses to Baden.
